Jason Blaine Celebrity Golf Classic to Distribute $105,000

9th annual event supports 18 charitable initiatives in the region

Pembroke, Ontario - The Jason Blaine Annual Celebrity Charity Golf Classic & Concert which was held on June 21, 2023, will be distributing more than $100,000 to local charities and charitable initiatives in the region, thanks to the incredible support of its tournament sponsors and participants.

“Being able to support local organizations who do great things for our communities is the heart and soul of why we host this event,” says Blaine. “There is a lot of generosity in the Ottawa Valley with our annual event and we’re so grateful to distribute these funds on behalf of our dedicated sponsors and participants.”

The presentation will take place in December when Jason returns home for a concert at the Germania Hall as part of The Road That Raised You Up Tour - Part 1. Tickets are available online.

Organizations benefiting from the 2023 funds include:

  • Robbie Dean Centre $15,000

  • Pembroke Petawawa District Community Foundation $11,000

  • Pembroke Regional Hospital (Cancer Care Campaign) $10,000

  • Pembroke and Area Airport $10,000

  • Carefor Health & Community Services $5,000

  • First Step Options $5,000

  • Columbus House Pembroke $5,000

  • Ontario SPCA Renfrew County and the Humane Society $3,000

  • Recovery Road $2,500

  • Ronald McDonald House Charities Ottawa $2,500

  • Kyla’s Kids Hockey Club $2,000

  • Wesley United Church Soup Kitchen $1,500

  • St. Casimir’s Community Group $1,500

  • St. Joseph’s Food Bank $1,500

  • The Society of St. Vincent’s de Paul $1,500

  • The Grind $1,500

  • Petawawa Pantry Food Bank $1,500

The 10th anniversary of Jason Blaine Annual Celebrity Charity Golf Classic & Concert event is scheduled for June 26, 2024 at the Pembroke Golf Club.
