FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Pembroke, Ontario - In front of a sold-out crowd at the Germania Hall on December 7, Pembroke’s Jason Blaine handed out more than $100,000 in charitable gifts to local organizations, thanks to funds raised from this year’s Jason Blaine Annual Celebrity Charity Golf Classic & Concert. This brings the total funds raised by the event to $845,000.

“Six months ago, we were out on the golf course, raising money, and tonight we got to give it out to 18 charitable organizations,” says Blaine, who celebrated the 20th anniversary of his debut single that was released in 2023! “It was such a feel-good night, an awesome way to kick off the spirit of the holiday season and bring people together for a great time.”

Blaine played at the Germania Hall where he and his wife Amy held their wedding reception! It was a full-circle moment for the country star.

Next year marks the event’s 10th anniversary and Blaine is well aware of how close they are to a major milestone in giving - the $1 million mark. Raising $155,000 would be a big ask for one year, but he says the committee is going to give all they have to make it happen.

“We know the milestone is there and it’s close,” he says. “We talk about it at every meeting. Everyone is committed to making it happen and they’re coming up with new ideas and ways to reach people to help us do it.”

In addition to meeting monthly with the event committee, Blaine has been having a stellar 2023 which kicked off with the St. Patrick’s Day release of a new single, The Road that Raised You Up, which became a Top-10 hit single. Then, just three days before the hometown concert, he released Boy Mama, another new single.

“2023 has been an inspiring year,” says Blaine who has 13 Top-10 singles, 25 million digital streams, six full-length albums, and industry awards from several music associations. “I can’t wait to see what we do in 2024, but I know it’s going to be epic.”
